MARY JO YOUNG SCHOLARSHIP

STUDENT MUST:

+ Be enrolled in dual credit courses at a Kentucky college.
+ Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
+ Be a legal resident of Kentucky.
+ Be a high school junior or senior during the 2016-2017 academic year.
+ Either have an ACT composite score of 18 or higher; OR achieve a grade point average
(GPA) of 2.5 or higher for the 2015-2016 academic year.

AWARD: 

+ Up to $420 for one course or $840 for two courses.
+ Reimbursement of textbook cost up to $125 for one course or $250 for two courses.

APPLICATION:

+ Applications for the 2016-2017 year will be available March 1, 2016. The deadline to apply
is May 15, 2016.

Carroll County Training Consortium Scholarship

The CCTC Renewable Technology Scholarship is designed to provide students with the opportunity to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree (AAS) in one of three programs related to industry needs in Carroll County and surrounding areas. These programs include Engineering & Electronics Technology (Electronics, Industrial, Computer Maintenance Specialization, Mechanical or Robotics and Automation Specialization), Applied Process Technology (Chemical /Refinery Operator or Power Plant Operator option) or Computer Information Technology. This scholarship is made possible through generous donations by local businesses and industries.

This is a full-tuition scholarship that is automatically renewed each semester (subject to the terms outlined in the scholarship rules).

The Kentucky Ready-Mixed Concrete Association contest is open to all students between the ages of 16-18 at the beginning of the 2015-16 school year. The rules are as follows:

  • Open to all high school students ages 16-18 at the beginning of the 2015-16 school year
  • An entry form must be included with all essays returned.  That form, along with the essay must be forwarded to KRMCA and postmarked by Saturday, October 31, 2015
  • Entries should be typed, double spaced and not exceed 600 words.

KSBA First Degree College Scholarship Program

KSBA First Degree College Scholarship Program

For the fifth consecutive year, the Kentucky School Boards Association will provide $2,500 college scholarships to one male and to one female member of the Class of 2016. The scholarship is good to any two-year, four-year college or university. This is a one-year, non-renewable scholarship.

Baptist Health Volunteer Assoc. Scholarship

Baptist Health La GrangeBaptist Health La Grange Volunteer Association will offer a $3,000 scholarship to one high school graduate (from Trimble, Oldham or Henry), planning to enroll in an accredited college/university, entering the medical/healthcare field.
